TERRAVITA: WE CANNOT BE DEFEATED WHILE WE HOLD TOGETHER!

At the end of November the company “TerraVita”, one of the leaders of the domestic agricultural market, held its traditional annual international conference, which proved once again: “TerraVita”, even though all of the problems of the present time, remains in the future one of the strongest and most stable players on the Ukraine market. The company demonstrates the confidence and ability to keep pace with the times, respond quickly to the market demands and once again confirms the steady growth of the business.

This year’s conference was held under the title “We cannot be defeated while we hold together”. And this is true, because by this message the organizers of the event want to say: for Ukraine today is not easy, but if we built civilized business relationships, if we maintain a humane relationship between business partners it is possible to be not just friends, but also to run a business successfully and stay socially responsible even in such difficult times for the life of the country and business. Particularly this confirms the activity of “TerraVita”, which, despite of all the difficulties and hardships, supplies plant protection product, fertilizers and sowing materials from the well-known and respected world manufacturers, takes care of the food security of the country and helps people to get through difficult times.

Year by year “TerraVita” has more and more business partners and friends!

The conference was opened by Karina Markarova – permanent leader and soul of the company. In her speech, she thanked all of her business partners and friends from Ukraine, Belarus, Moldova, USA, Belgium, Austria, Spain and South Africa, first of all, for their believe in “TerraVita” and for remaining as a reliable and stable partners of the company (in the auditorium there were present the distributors of “TerraVita” from “hot” regions of the country (LLC “Shedriy Lan”, director Elena Borisenko, and LLC “Agrozahist Donbas”, director Nikita Hirluyk), which despite the horrors of the war which takes place at their home, promptly perform all their partner and financial responsibilities).

The company “TerraVita” supplies to the CIS countries’ markets only the highest quality products. Every year we are expanding the range of the products which we offer, the number of our customers is also increasing. The company has made maximum effort to ensure that our farmers use modern technology and plant protection systems. Our goal is to satisfy the expectations of the customers, by the providing of a highly professional consulting services that the client felt not just the seller next to him, but responsible partner. In addition, we offer the best value for money. And in order to be closer to our customers, this year we have significantly expanded our staff – now we have our representatives in almost each region of Ukraine.

And now, in the year of its 13th anniversary, “TerraVita” appears on the market with a new highly professional and ambitious team, – said Karina Markarova with a pride in her speech. – Now in the company’s portfolio, which is annually updated with new products, more than 45 modern plant protection products, which allow farmers to provide complex protection for major crops, vegetables, orchards and vineyards, as well as the optimal composition of the seeds bred by the famous Austrian manufacturer – RWA,  which can be fitted to the different regions of Ukraine. Special fertilizers and growth regulator (CODA, Cibus, Kelpak) which we offer have unique properties that increase yield and its quality.

Also the General Director of “TerraVita” noted that there are significant changes in the global agrochemical business. Thus, the company FMC recently “added” to its actives company “Cheminova” and “Agriphar”, “Crompton” and “Arista” became part of the Platform Specialty Products Corporation, building on that a new multinational player on the global agrochemical market.

Tom Wood, representing the corporation FMC, said that already in 2015 FMC enters to the market with the increased portfolio and the number of innovative products (for research and development corporation spends about $ 1 billion.).

Erol Karkan told about appearance of the new products in Ukraine. So, in the near future is expected the registration of a new herbicide based on sulfentrazone, which is effective against glyphosate-resistant weeds, mixed preparation based on clomazone to protect the sows of rape. To replace a well-known insecticide Marshal there will come a new mixture product on the base of bifenthrin.

Many interesting things said Frank Dittmann, who presented “newborn” agrochemical giant – Platform Specialty Products Corporation. Having in its activity 15 plants for producing of a wide range of high-tech chemical products worldwide, extensive customer and dealer network around the world, the corporation is able to respond quickly to customer requests and to provide customers with the necessary number of effective product in time.

Alexandra Miller presented the company “Adob” (Poland), which is the leader in the production of special fertilizers and chelates in Poland today: more than 68% of the products are exported to 70 countries. Cibus is a unique fertilizer, in which as chelating element it is applied IDHA – the unique substance. Its capability is that the fertilizers are biodegradable in soil. All microfertilizers offered on the Ukrainian market by the company “Adob”  are produced in Poland on its own factories and guarantees high quality products and fit all EU standards.

Ignacio Alonso, representative of the Spanish company “Sustainable Agro Solutions SA”, introduced to the audience a balanced combination of micronutrients by the brand “CODA” that stabilizes plant nutrition, increases yield and quality of products. Foliar application of chelated forms of nutrients – the best way to ensure plant by them. Biostimulants with micronutrients can protect from the negative stress effects of weather, which from year to year becoming more frequent.

The manager of the Austrian company “Raiffeisen Ware Austria AG» (RWA) Philipp Karoshi introduced a line of hybrids of sunflower, corn, winter (Antigone) and spring (Serbinetta) barley and soybean (OAC Wallace) that Ukrainian farmers have already had the opportunity to evaluate in practice. We should specially mention hybrids of sunflower Simson and Sillouet, corn – Hamlet, Saari, Ballerina, Novania, Leon,Amanita, Forteza, Sirikus. These hybrids have shown excellent results in terms of yield and quality in our climatic conditions.

The conference, as always, was held in a special, friendly-business atmosphere, the tone of which traditionally sets by its permanent organizer. (This is why all the participants of the event felt a warm aura of friendly relations of the big partner family.) In the concluding remarks, Mrs. Karina thanked all the participants and expressed hers intention to continue to work hard to transform the agro-industrial complex of Ukraine into a highly effective and highly competitive on the domestic and foreign markets sector of the national economy and a solid economic foundation of the social and economic development. Such a clear vision of the strategic goals and convincing confidence in the results of the joint mission, of course, were a bright final chord of the event, which has added the inspiration and optimism to all of the participants.

After the end of speeches and presentations it took a place the  award ceremony of the leaders in sales of plant protection products, reliable partners and friends of “TerraVita”. Gold and silver medals, diplomas and valuable gifts were presented to the company “Eridon”, TH “Nasinnya”, “Agrozahist Donbas”, “UkrLandFarming”, “Spector-Agro”,  “AgroRos”, “Agrosemproduct” (Belarus), “Shedriy Lan”,”Service Agro Center”, “Agralp Ukraine”, “Ukrainian agro-chemical company”, “Agrochimtsentr”, “Unitech”,” Protectia Plantelor “and” Imexagro “(Moldova), “Sever-Agro”, “Osaviahim”.

But the most unexpected surprise, but not less enjoyable because of this, was the award “For the internationalization and the best business scenario” that team of “TerraVita” solemnly handed out to their beloved leader, charming Karina Markarova!

Well, and as a finalization of the conference there was a pleasant entertainment and concert program, which was compared by a longtime friend of “TerraVita” well-known TV presenter Petr Maga. “TerraVita”, as always, took care not only about deep business atmosphere but also about decent resting conditions. “That is our corporate culture:“TerraVita”– the best partner both in work and in leisure time which our partners deserve!” – smiled organizers.

This year, everyone was overjoyed at the fabulous performances by the world-famous violinist Vasyl Popadiuk.
