A pre-emergence and post-emergence selective herbicide to control annual grasses and dicotyledonous weeds in crops.

Mode of action:

Active ingredient inhibits photosynthesis of sensitive weeds. The product is absorbed both by sprouts and roots of germinating weeds if it is used before sprouting. Effect on leaves that have already sprouted occurs through leaves.

Compatibility

 

Stargezan 500 SC is well combined with the herbicides Proxanil 720 EC and Pioneer 900, EC, which expands the spectrum of action on annual cereal weeds.

Application features

 doze rate of the product depends on the mechanical composition of the soil and potential infestation. A minimum recommended dose is used for thin-humous, psammitic  soils, loamy and for the soil with high humus content, the maximum recommended dose is used.
• high-quality pre-sowing soil handling is a basic requirement for the best effect.
• it is recommended to apply the agent to a depth of 2-3 cm in case of dry weather conditions or if there is a lack of soil moisture.
• after the agent has been applied do not carry out row cultivation – it reduces the impact on weeds.

200-400 l/ha. Optimal conditions for application are after the rain. Application is necessary to make at a wind speed of not more than 3-4 m/s

It is forbidden to make application if the wind speed more than 3-4 m/s, as well as when the culture damaged by diseases, pests, or is in of stress by wind, frost or previously applied herbicides
